In Tech 4 Canada we love innovation, and when we get our hands on a product like the NEW GVR3550 from Grandstream, we become like a child at Christmas (assuming he/she was a good kid all year long).
This new solution for Network Video Recorder, the GVR3550, has everything you might ever want for your IP video surveillance system.
It can handle up to 24 HD channels (12 FHD) and 4 SATA hard drives, for up to 16 TB of storage space (which is more than you would need to record 1 camera, 24 hours a day for 365 days *storage calculator). These Hard drives can be configured as RAID 0 or RAID 1 for better redundancy and availability.
The software to manage and configure the GVR3550 is as easy to use as it can get! Fully customizable recording rules: time based, event based; manual or automatic; automatic discovery of IP cameras over the local network and the integration with ONVIF compliant equipment makes it easy to use with your existing IP cameras (or analog cameras using an encoder).
The GVR3550 is the cherry on top of the already wonderful IP surveillancesSolutions from Grandstream. Let’s not forget that Grandstream’s IP cameras are also SIP compliant and that makes them able to call you if an alarm or motion detection is triggered (if you have a Video Phone is even better), send you emails with a screen shot attached and many more nice features.
If you are looking for a Video surveillance solution for your business or your customers, you need to consider the Grandstream GVR 3550, you will not be disappointed!
